A gift I've given to you.
The breath you breath.
The soul you hold.
Your tiny presence is so bold.
And will be till you get old.
Running and laughing with mommy behind you.
I used to play this little game to.
Try to catch me mommy you will soon say.
And I dread but hope for that day.
The words I love you pass your precious lips.
Tears will swell my eyes as I come to grips.
That you came from me.
I gave grampie his silver doller blue eyed baby.
I wish your father could see the joy you bring.
That his "little baby boy blue" makes my heart sing.

Blend with the clouds of the sky.
As the clouds reflect in your tiny blue eyes.
Your eyes that gaze up at the vast blue.
Then turn their curios stare to the flyaways in my hair.
As I dress you in your little blue onesie an matching top & pants.
When a smile spreads over that precious face.
Which makes my heart trumpet proudly in its place.
The angelic song my soul sings.
Announces the joy my bundle of blue brings.
Soon the present will turn into the future.
And as it does it will continue to spread the news.
That my life is now a beautiful blend of little"blues hues."
